Training yields Championship success
It’s now almost 10 years since Emil Antonsen took part in a two day advanced racing programme with Protrain and it’s an experience he has never forgotten, since then the talented Norwegian driver hasn’t looked back.
Anyone watching Emil’s progress can see that he made a big step up following his trip to the UK, he put into action the new techniques and worked hard to develop his racecraft.
He is now competing at the highest of levels in KZ2 and last year he was KZ2 Champion in Norway as well as Vice Champion at the World Cup in Sarno.
Emil’s proud father contacted us recently to once again express his appreciation for the tuition we had given Emil, he commented, “You taught him to brake late and in his team he is the best at braking. Every lap at Sarno after the long straight (157 km/h) he gained 1.5ths over his best team mate by braking late without losing exit speed out of the corner.”
Gary Chapman said. “I remember Emil very well, he was a pleasure to work with, it’s great to see him doing so well. Many teams offer training but very few offer training excellence with a history of developing and coaching some of the best drivers in the world. We are very proud of Emil and of the many thousands of drivers we have helped over the years”
