Objectives
A training day that takes a novice driver to the required standard to pass the ARKS driving and written test to gain a Motorsports UK kart racing licence.
Course Content
Driving either Protrain's karts or the driver's own kart the training day comprises of an instructors' briefing, six driving sessions and debriefing sessions, viewing of the ARKS syllabus and taking of the ARKS written paper and driving test. The instructor will be working on all aspect's of a driver's technique to coach them up to the required level to pass the ARKS test.
Throughout the day your instructor will be asking questions testing your knowledge of the flags and general karting safety aspects to help ensure success in the multiple choice written paper.
Candidates
For drivers almost at a racing speed who have either been practicing outdoors on racing karts or graduates of Protrain level 2 training days.

We only use full racing Motorsports UK karts which are extremely fast with amazing handling. See Overview of Training Days for details
