Here at Protrain we have karting running through our blood. Everyone in the company is fully committed to the sport of karting, it is our life not just our business.

Protrain have been involved in the sport since 1969 and with over 40 years of experience of kart racing we have the knowledge to help all drivers whether they are taking up the sport or European Champions.

We offer a range of services to help “karters”.

Most popular are our range of training days. They are the best way to learn about the sport and how to drive these wonderful racing machines. Our professional Association of Kart Racing School Instructors coach drivers at all levels introducing the basic techniques to learner drivers and at the higher end using data logging to fine tune all aspects of championship racing drivers. The Protrain Racing Driver training school is the longest running kart school in the UK and is certified by the Motor Sports Association (MSA). Protrain are members of the Association of Racing Kart Schools (ARKS) and only use fully tuned two stroke racing karts on MSA approved full racing circuits over 1000m long. We are proud of our Chief instructor, Gary Chapman, European, Middle East and six times UK National Kart Champion who knows a thing or two about driving!!!

The Protrain International Race Team is known as one of the best kart teams in the world. Drivers join the team who are looking to maximise their potential by having experts in karting advise and manage their racing. The racing team has several colour coordinated vehicles and full pit facilities and awnings to cover international, national and club race meetings. Each driver is allocated their pit bay and are looked after the by the Team Manager providing expertise in driving techniques, race craft, chassis set up and engine performance.

Protrain are UK distributors for the world leading range of Formula K Racing karts. This premier brand is seen competing at the front of all kart meetings and are proud with their record of European and UK victories. Formula K make a chassis for most classes of racing and back the performance up with the highest level of track side support and rapid spare parts service.
